FAQ
How do I purchase a print?
To purchase a print, click on the “Add to Cart” button. Under the “Prints” tab, select the size and finish that you require. From here you can add the print to your cart. When all required prints have been selected, go to the checkout.
In what sizes and finishes are prints available?
Print sizes and finishes are described in the "Description" column of the "Prints" tab of the shopping cart. The image size refers to the paper size upon which the image is printed. Prints are centered and maximize the available print area. A minimum 1cm border is left on all sides of the print to aid in matting. All prints are produced by a well respected commercial printer and are produced on professional quality Kodak Endura papers.
How do I license an image?
To license an image, click on the “Add to Cart” button. Under the “Downloads” tab, select the license best suited to your needs and you will be provided with a quote. From here you can add the image to your cart. Once the terms are agreed to and the fee is paid, the image will be made available for download. Note that, depending on your specific needs, license fees may be negotiable.
What format and resolution will I get?
Images on this site are compressed to optimize site performance. Upon purchase of a license or ordering of prints, the original watermark-free hi-resolution image, at 300dpi, will be provided or used. When an image is purchased, hi-res JPEG files are delivered by default.
Can I get a sample of a hi-res file?
Yes, you can! As mentioned above, the images showcased on this site are compressed. We are happy do supply a hi-res sample, if you want to verify image quality before purchasing a license. Simply contact me directly and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
What kind of licensing schemes do you offer for your images?
Currently, I offer personal use licenses as well as commercial use rights managed licenses for photographs.
Personal Use licenses are appropriate for images you’d like to for your personal use, which may include, but is not limited to, using the image for at-home printing, screensaver slideshows, wedding announcements, online personal profiles, etc. A Personal Use license, however, prohibits you from using the image for anything but strictly personal or limited educational use (e.g. school projects or single-classroom education).
A Rights Managed license means that an image is priced and purchased for a specific explicit purpose for a set period of time. For example, licensing an image for editorial publication at 1/2 page size in an Australian national magazine with a circulation of 100,000 is considered a specific purpose. An appropriate Rights Managed fee will be determined based on that usage.
What are the terms and conditions associated with licensing an image?
Please note that licensing of an image does not confer the copyright to you. Additionally, by licensing an image here, you are solely liable for its use. Please, ensure that the photo is suitable for your use before licensing.
