The 2015 Waterman Eco-Challenge held at Narragansett Beach on July 18th, 2015. Raw Elements USA Sunscreen is proud to partner with Narragansett Parks & Recreation, Narragansett Surf Rescue and South County Orthopedics to present WATERMAN ECO-CHALLENGE on July 18th, 2015 at Narragansett Town Beach in Rhode Island. There’s a 3 mile ocean paddle race as well as a new 1 mile ocean swim race. For the paddle race, contestants can compete on a traditional Paddle Board or Stand Up Paddle Board. This year’s event will also be a celebration of life in honor of the late Janice Causey who was so special to the entire community surrounding this event.

Wind Powered Productions and Zack Bastian present Endless Abilities, an inspiring documentary about individuals with physical challenges who, in times of adversity, find the ability to adapt, the ability to live. Friends Tripp Clemens, Harvey Burrell, and Will Humphrey follow Bastian to expose challenges facing those with physical disabilities all across New England. Bastian's ambition takes us far beyond his coastal Rhode Island town, as the project explores the surfing, sailing, and skiing communities of disabled sporting. Endless Abilities unites us locally today and strengthens our bond globally for years to come. This past weekend the annual Doris Duke Surf Fest celebrated the world's first competitive female surfer, Doris Duke, "the world's richest girl" and protégé of Duke Kahanamoku. Surfers, locals, and enthusiasts gathered at the Rough Point Mansion, one of Newport, RI's most elegant Cliffwalk estates, and perused the hundreds of surfboards fanned out across the lawn.
